Jay is a seasoned Audit Partner with over 22 years of experience and is known for being a dynamic business leader with a passion for helping clients achieve success.

He has developed in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in diverse areas including accounting advisory, external and internal audit, policies and procedures, and valuation for optimal business growth.

Clients rely and respond to his dynamic approach and his skillset to problem solving and project management. Jay has the ability to look beyond the numbers, analyse and report on the wider aspects of the client’s business and to provide sound technical accounting and structuring advice with up-to-date market and industry issues.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Jay served as an Audit Partner in KPMG Canada where he has serviced a diverse portfolio of clients which includes mid to large size public listed companies under IFRS reporting, whilst also working on SEC listed clients with US GAAP and SOX 404 reporting requirements.

Jay has also served as the Risk & Compliance Leader and the International Liaison Partner for the UAE.
