Moaaz is a Director in the assurance team with more than 16 years of experience within the field of Audit, Assurance & Finance varying between different geographical regions like the Middle East, Australia & New Zealand. He has experience of working with the Big 4s and with International MNCs.

Moaaz leads a vast client portfolio of different industries including Listed entities, Government Sector, NFPs, Real Estate, Construction, Fintech, Commodity trading, Manufacturing, Consumer and Industrial Products, Educational and Tourism. His expertise includes sound implementation knowledge of the IFRS, AASB (Australia), IPSAS and the ISAs, with consolidation and tax being major components.

Prior to joining GT UAE, Moaaz worked for the State Audit in Australia, where he has represented the State Audit reporting to the parliament for various Councils, NFPs and other industries. He has worked in PwC Australia where he was one of the leaders in the assurance department and handled key account clients. He has also worked in the commercial finance world in Australia where he was handling Group Reporting and Consolidation at a Global Level. He led the implementation of IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 at the organization.
