Charlotte is an Associate Director in the Tax Advisory team specializing in Indirect Tax.

Charlotte is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and has been working in tax since leaving University in 2008, beginning her career in the personal tax arena in the UK where she covered income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax for private individuals as well as trusts and estates.

Following this she switched to Indirect Tax specializing in VAT and has been operating in this area since 2011. She has over 11 years of experience in VAT 6 years in the UK and 5 in the UAE.

Charlotte is based in Abu Dhabi and has supported local businesses with the implementation of VAT since its inception, as well as compliance and ongoing VAT technical advisory. Prior to join Grant Thornton she worked for Big 4 firm here in the UAE.

She is known for her ability to provide practical solutions for client’s problems and work closely with them to obtain the best possible outcome for their business.

Charlotte works across a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, law firms, construction and real estate, hospitality and leisure, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.
