The US member firm of Grant Thornton recently announced a strategic partnership with an investor group led by US-based New Mountain Capital. This partnership is between the US member firm and the investor group and does not involve any other member firm in the network. There will be no change to how Grant Thornton UAE deliver services to our clients as a result of this announcement.
The transaction will enable Grant Thornton US to accelerate its growth strategy through increased investments in people, quality, capabilities, and technology. Grant Thornton UAE looks forward to working with our US firm to make sure this strategic partnership is as successful for the rest of the network as it is expected to be for Grant Thornton US. We expect private equity interest in professional services to continue as our profession evolves in the future.
