Sharmeen Naveed is an Associate Director in Grant Thornton UAE’s Financial Advisory practice, with a primary focus on business valuation while leading key workstreams across M&A mandates. Sharmeen has led and supported valuation, financial modelling, sell‑side advisory, fundraising, and broader corporate finance work spanning financial services, technology, retail and other sectors.
Her notable engagements include feasibility support for the Mamsha Project by Alef Group for an AED 500 million bank fundraise; valuation, buyside and fundraising advisory to Nine Yards Plus for the acquisition of ADCP (Abu Dhabi Commercial Properties); valuation for the merger of Oman Qatar Insurance and Vision Insurance; sell‑side advisory to an Abu Dhabi–based family conglomerate on the sale of a fodder trading company to a UAE strategic buyer; financial advisory to Gulf Cement on their recent transaction; and buyside advisory to Quantum Global on a USD 50 million acquisition of an oil storage company. She has also advised prominent regional clients, including Alpha Dhabi Investments, Saudi Airlines Group, and E&, among others.
Before joining Grant Thornton UAE, Sharmeen worked in KPMG’s Transaction Advisory practice, developing financial and valuation models, business plans, and feasibility studies. She is an ACCA (UK) member, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, and is a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA).
