We are pleased to welcome Ankur Gupta to Grant Thornton UAE as Business Consulting Director. Ankur brings 14 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and supply chain advisory and assurance services, with a footprint across the UK, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. His work spans cost optimisation, contract lifecycle management, supplier assurance, and tech-enabled transformations, supporting both private and public sector organisations in unlocking commercial value and operational efficiency.
Before joining us, Ankur held senior roles at other Big 4 firms across their UK, UAE, and India practices. He’s led multi-million-pound cost savings programmes, co-led the implementation of AI-driven compliance tools, and designed procurement and supplier management frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. His experience also includes setting up Procurement & Contract Centres of Excellence and managing loss mitigation efforts for large-scale public programmes.
Ankur holds an MBA in Infrastructure Management and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and an IACCM Advanced Practitioner candidate.
