  • Grant Thornton named as the Strategic Partners of the Year for 2015 with Middle East CFO Alliance

Grant Thornton are pleased to announce that we are the Strategic Partners of the Year’ for 2015 with Middle East CFO Alliance. MECA CFO Alliance is an international CFO networking group that operates globally with its members based in over 20 countries.

We are the Strategic Partners alongside Thomson Reuters and SAP, one of the top global Fortune 500 companies. Under this agreement, we will be actively participating and supporting MECA to deliver thought leading content to their members. At Grant Thornton, we believe that it is equally as important to support our communities to grow, as it is our clients. Therefore, this association enables us to continue sharing knowledge with CFOs who are tasked with promoting business growth, leading to economic growth – hence being imperative for our economy today and in the future.

Khurram Bhatti, Partner at Grant Thornton UAE will be presenting at the MECA CFO Innovation Summit (The future of business intelligence) which is due to take place on the 14th of April at the Ritz Carlton JBR.  Khurram will be sharing key insights into “changing infrastructure and times: the impact of business intelligence”, further highlighting elements that CFOs need to consider when it comes to innovation within their organizations.

Grant Thornton will also be supporting the MECA CFO Strategy Summit “the Evolving Role of the CFO” which is due to take place in August and the 4th Regional MECA CFO Conference which is taking place in December.

Hisham Farouk, CEO of Grant Thornton UAE said “we are delighted to be supporting MECA CFO Alliance in 2015. We pride ourselves on supporting dynamic organizations to unlock their potential for growth and we work closely with our professional community, in this case CFOs so that they can continue to lead the future.”
