Andrew is a director in Technology Advisory & Cyber Security.
He is a certified scrum master with 20 years’ experience delivering some of the most innovative and advanced technologies in the marketplace. He offers expertise in leading large Digital and Technology transformation engagements by developing strategies, leading innovation, identifying and mitigating risks and empowering teams to perform to the best of their ability.
He has been an active member of Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance and excels in continuously improving client experiences and development methods.
Prior to Grant Thornton, he worked as a Cyber Security and Digital Transformation Advisor to the UAE government and fortune 500 companies, where he designed, implemented, and delivered successful security and digital transformation projects.
He drove the building of the central SoC and managed best-of-breed technology development for IoC and MSSP platforms as well as envisioned, developed and deployed an AI-assisted LEA system used to prevent international crime.
He is a co-founder of the Dubai Cyber Think Tank with Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) as well as founder and motivator for the Dubai Cyber Cluster, working to engage awareness on cyber issues which affect the public.
In addition, he is a founding Member of the 971 sec group and the DESC working group on security in the Emirates.
