Amgad brings 25 years of audit, tax, incorporation and related consultancy expertise to Grant Thornton UAE. Amgad gained his experience from the United States, Northern Africa and Middle East, and while working in diverse range of organisations in industries, including insurance, banks, real estate, construction, hotels, telecommunication, manufacturing, trading, biotech, semiconductors and the not-for-profit sector.
Amgad has extensive experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), which has been obtained as a result of working and dealing with a wide portfolio of clients from diverse sectors. His broad expanse of international and local experience allows him to bring a unique perspective to the clients he services whilst enabling them to grow.
Amgad has managed and executed external audits, special purpose audits, and due diligence and IPOs assignments for large multinational companies, large local companies, listed and non-listed in the stock exchange, with IFRS, United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS).
He has previously worked for Deloitte as a partner working in Egypt, Algeria, and the USA, and as an audit partner for Grant Thornton UAE in the Dubai office.
